Bureau of Meteorology Climate Outlook for October to December 2017

The Bureau of Meteorology's monthly and seasonal climate outlooks for October to December 2017 are now available.
In the months ahead:
- Climate influences include a drier signal from the Indian Ocean counteracted by a wetter influence from the Pacific
- This means an equal chance of wetter or drier than average conditions across Australia for the three months
- October likely to be wetter than average for eastern and central parts; drier in the west
- Warmer-than-average daytime temperatures likely for northern Australia and the southeast
