Database issue affecting Bureau systems resolved

An internal database issue affecting Bureau of Meteorology systems this morning has been resolved.
The fault affected Bureau systems for several hours through the morning of 20 May 2016.
Members of the public visiting the Bureau's website may have noticed delays in observations data.
The Bureau has contingency arrangements in place and continued to provide priority meteorological services through the outage.
The Bureau regrets any inconvenience that may have been caused by the outage and is working to avoid further disruption.
