Bureau releases climate outlooks for November 2016 to January 2017

The Bureau of Meteorology released its monthly and seasonal climate outlooks for November 2016 to January 2017 today.
The outlooks indicate:
- Wetter-than-average conditions likely in much of Western Australia, particularly along the northern coastline.
- Warmer-than-average days and nights likely in eastern Australia; also the far west of Western Australia.
- Cooler-than-average for inland and southern Western Australia.
Climate influences include a weakening negative Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD), and warm seas around northern Australia.
