Bureau of Meteorology Climate Outlook for January to March 2018

The Bureau of Meteorology's monthly and seasonal climate outlooks for January to March 2018 are now available.
- Above-average rainfall likely for parts of eastern and Western Australia
- Days and nights are likely to be cooler than average for parts of eastern and Western Australia, but warmer than average for the far southwest and southeast
- La Niña conditions in the tropical Pacific Ocean are likely to have less influence on Australian rainfall than the previous La Niña in 2010–12; warmer waters to Australia's northwest likely to influence conditions in Western Australia
