• Flash flooding in Melbourne yesterday afternoon.
• Cold and squally conditions on the way Thursday into Friday.
• Showers expected, isolated thunderstorms and small hail possible.
• Warning may be issued for damaging winds late Thursday.
• Conditions will slowly ease into Saturday.
