AUDIO NEWS RELEASE: Tasmania's June Climate Summary

Climatologist Ian Barnes-Keoghan from the Bureau of Meteorology Tasmania discusses the June Climate summary for the island state. Among the points discussed are:
- Mild days but cold nights for most of the state
- Ross and King Island had their coldest June night on record
- Launceston had five consecutive nights below minus 1 (- 1 °C)
- Much of the state was fairly dry during June
- Bushy Park had its driest June since 1930 with less than 10 mm of rain for the whole month
- Outlook shows temperatures likely to be above average in the coming months, rainfall most likely to be below average in eastern parts of the state.
